Medical Rehabilitation Program
Our Complex Medical Rehab Program is designed for patients
with diverse medical conditions, such as post-surgical complications,
multi-system failure, altered wound healing, and metabolic
imbalance. Our program assists patients who have difficulties
with poor endurance, weakness, pain, altered nutritional needs
and complicated self-care problems.
With acute care readily available at neighboring NSMC Salem
Hospital, patients can begin the rehab process while maintaining
access to a range of medical specialists and diagnostic tests,
Shaughnessy-Kaplan provides skilled care for patients requiring
medical management services, including dialysis, telemetry
monitoring, frequent suctioning, high oxygen needs, IV therapy
or complex wound management.

All patient rooms are semiprivate and have bathroom facilities,
free televisions and telephones, private closet space and
large windows. Family members are always welcome and serve
