Our Transitional Care Unit (TCU) provides a wide range of
interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to patients with
short term rehabilitation and medical needs. Our TCU, sometimes
called a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), is licensed and surveyed
every year by the Department of Public Health. Rehab services
include: orthopedics, neurology, cardiac, oncology, medical,
surgical recovery, IV therapy, wound care and nutritional
support.
Our patients benefit from access to a full continuum of
services in a setting more appropriately designed to meet
their specific rehabilitation needs.
Program Features:

Specialty rehabilitation team
which may include attending physician, rehabilitation
nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists,
speech-language pathologists, rehabilitation aides, dietitians,
social workers and program managers.

including emergency and acute care, hospital diagnostic

Our outpatient rehabilitation programs offer aggressive care
for patients who have completed their inpatient program or
are just beginning the rehab process. Outpatient services
are available at the Therapy Centers of Salem, Lynn, Peabody,
Marblehead, Middleton and North Andover.
