| Ventilator
Rehabilitation
Our Ventilator Rehab Program provides quality medical care,
progressive rehabilitation and emotional support for the ventilator-assisted
patient. With a program primarily focusing on rehabilitation
versus long-term care, weaning from the ventilator is a priority
accomplished through a progressive approach and extensive
clinical and personal care.
The goal of our Ventilator Rehab Program is to maximize
function within the patient's capabilities while working to
minimize activity limitations. This is accomplished by increasing
physical strength and coordination, improving nutrition, enhancing
psychological and emotional readiness and strengthening family
support systems.
